Kinmata
Kinmata is a culinary inn with a history of more than 400 years, located in Tamba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. Steeped in history, the original wooden staircase that was built when the establishment was founded is still featured in the center of the inn.
Known for its Botan Nabe, Kinmata is a Ryokan that is visited by many guests every year for its cultural and historical importance. Most famously, there are the records of a visit to the inn by the Japanese statesman, Kido Takayoshi, who was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era.
